Blindspots & Humility

Our blindspots face-plant us to the ground, leaving us feeling temporarily confused and destabilized in territory that we thought we knew enough to be beyond.

When we swallow the hard pill of our surroundings and receive new awareness with open arms, we are born again. Awkwardly and curiously exploring life with fresh eyes and a child-like posture.

This process of making slow, steady, and small shifts gradually restructures our identity, making it especially important to choose our mirrors, who and what we surround ourselves with, wisely as they influence the new bricks of our foundation. And by grace, support, and compassion we rise up again with a renewed sense of purpose and vitality.

The bigger the fall, the greater the reminder to keep our feet planted on the ground of truth. So that even as we orient towards the stars, we remain open and yet discerning to be corrected by a righteousness greater than ourselves - staying humble and kind as we continue to expand.
