Slow And Steady Growth

When flowers blossom, onlookers may see it as a spontaneous, miraculous event. Thinking that it must be “too good to be true” or wanting to take some of that beauty for themselves. But, any farmer that has planted fruits of their own knows that a flower blossoms through the consistent labor of love. Sunlight, water, intention nourish the soil and a pot holds the integrity together, allowing for the flower to grow into what it is.

The labor of love isn’t pure stillness or stagnancy. It’s movement, changing seasons, contextual action, sweat + tears. It’s the outward expression of the innermost spiritual devotion to life. And, when the flower does blossom, the farmer’s emotions are a reflection of the depth of experience, the meaning that this flower holds in one’s heart.

This is the walk of love, towards the light. The path is both winding and narrow, at times hard to find. But after enough times of consistently choosing to return, those who do are blessed with the greatest fruits of all time.
