As Hurt People We Hurt People
Even with the best intentions, we all make mistakes and hurt the ones we love. As part of being human in a traumatized world with baggage. And every time we do so, we hurt and add weight to our own good conscience.
Without reflection or clearing, our conscience grows heavy and hard to the subtle emotional signals that we had missed or ignored in hurting another. Growing distant and cold, more separated from the delicacy of life.
Only through feeling the weight, understanding the damage, and holding ourselves accountable can there be clearing and renewal. A painful process of seeing our contribution to the suffering that the purest part of our souls are heartbroken to witness. But only through which we can be fully forgiven and integrate the lesson, to empower our spirits, shift our orientation, soften our hearts, to start fresh again.
Each time, allowing us greater compassion, appreciation, and patience for ourselves and our loved ones, knowing that this experience we all, as imperfect but caring beings, who’d rather not but inevitably do, suffer in and share together.
